JK Fabrications Ltd has a policy to conduct its activities with due regard to the safety of all employees, the general public, sub-contractors and others who may be affected by its operations.
The company will comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978 and any Regulations or Codes of Practice made under these orders.
Health and Safety is not just a responsibility of Management, it is the responsibility of everyone employed by JK Fabrications Ltd and should be a personal objective of each and every one of us.
We strive to ensure effective risk management and hazard identification in order to provide effective controls and eradicate the risk of personal injury and suffering.
JK Fabrications Ltd will provide information, instruction, training and supervision to secure the skills required to effectively work in a safe and competent manner.
We recognise that communication and consultation is an integral part of our daily behaviour, and an effective tool in the elimination of accidents.
Our safety management systems will identify our organisational structure, its responsibilities, our standards, procedures, controls and resources provided to achieve a world-class management system.
We will monitor and audit our performance internally and externally to ensure that we do not become complacent. The continuous improvement of our Health and Safety Systems will always be our objective.
The policy provides the framework for setting and reviewing OH&S objectives.
The Directors have overall responsibility for the implementation of this policy. The Health and Safety Policy statement will be revised on an annual basis or at times when changes in legislation or work practices make a review necessary.
J K Fabrications Ltd. is an engineering company with over 30 years’ experience. From its inception the company has concentrated its resources and expertise on the waste water/water treatment sector, and pride ourselves in being a forerunner in the introduction of stainless steel to this industry. Our trained staff will ensure that all aspects of your job are completed on time and to the highest possible standard. As part of the company’s obligation within the tendering and site elements of the works, the company have undertaken to develop and implement an Integrated Management System, incorporating quality elements commensurate with ISO 9001:2008.
The system’s design has been based on the elements of the Business Excellence Model (EFQM), aimed at identifying and meeting the needs and expectations of JK Fabrications Ltd clients and other interested parties and achieving, maintaining and improving organisational performance. The system also provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives, the key elements of the system include:

As part of the company’s continual improvement strategy, JK Fabrications Ltd will develop quality objectives on an annual basis, which will endeavour to:
- Engage with clients to ensure practicable programmes are developed for all projects undertaken
- Coordinate material specification with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure high quality materials are used throughout the site based process
- Work with our supply chain (particularly sub-contractors) to ensure communication of requirements and identification of opportunities for improved project management.
- Continually review and assess competencies of all JK Fabrications Ltd personnel and ensure effective training is delivered where required.
